I have been gathering some items for travel and thought I would share them with you .
Some of these are some of my favorite things and are handy if you are home or traveling near or far.
First up....
Do you ever watch Anderson Cooper? This little pretty was shared recently as one of his guests favorite things. Since the show they are sold out online but you can find plenty of them in your local Bath and Body Works. Tough wrinkles, silk, curtains, you name it....this little easy steamer is the way to go. Top it off with a $5.00 Bath and Body Works coupon and it is only $15.00!!!
My Little Steamer® Go Mini Hand Steamer
I found these at TJ Maxx (they are cheaper there than Amazon) and I think they will really help in giving us room in our bags to bring goodies home. I am trying to pack "lightly" but it is a 12 day trip, so just clothes takes up valuable space.
These compression bags are great and we have used them before to maximize the space in our luggage.
I have a friend whose husband is from Madrid. They visit his family frequently and she emailed a ton of places that she doesn't want me to miss. Her emails were peppered with safety comments and now I am a nervous wreck about pick pockets. She stressed that VERY heavily. I will be wearing a wallet like this and will
How will I be dressing for this trip? This will be my main look......
Pretty much the same look I wear every day. Everything to mix and match.
Are you shocked at my boring wardrobe? Did you picture something more glamorous?
Sorry!
So, that is just a few of my favorite things and what I am bringing.
Do you have something that you do NOT leave home without?
Do you have suggestions?
I TRULY would love to know!
Let me hear from you!
Love,
Me
PS. I did this polyvore thingy and somehow published it to my blog TWICE before this post!!! Sorry about that if you got a bunch of posts from me today! I guess I REALLY wanted you to see what I was wearing!
I love your clothing collage. I use polyvore myself. I think you've got a good collection of mix and match items. Perhaps throw in a wrinkle resistant jersey tank dress and a pair of sandals. Somehow I missed the details of your trip (I'm hit and miss with my blog reading sometimes) so maybe you don't have use for those items but thought I'd suggest them just in case.
ReplyDeleteI was in Madrid 2 yrs ago and had my usual handbag over my shoulder and felt very safe. My tip is to take a few funky cotton scarves with you, they can change up any outfit and its nice to have something to cosy up to on the plane (or cover a spillage on your top!)
ReplyDeleteI always buy the jumbo ( 2 gallon I think) ziplock bags for travel. I can put tons of clothes in them a just sit on them to get the air out. They end up super flat.i might have 10 of them in my bag! Couldn't travel without them. Also, a bag for dirty clothes. I hate it when I forget that!
ReplyDeleteWe used the compression bags and they are great, except it will wrinkle the clothes you don't want wrinkled - but I guess that's where the steamer will come in handy. I may have to pick one up at BB&B.
