After two days of relaxing, Romeo and I left from Madison and headed to Peachtree to see a niece and nephew, oh yeah....and their parents. ; )
PS. The niece looks EXACTLY like my daughter Freebird, whose baby pictures also look EXACTLY like my oldest sisters. My sister and I were saying tonight that it is almost like God hit the "EASY" button on some of our kids and made them carbon copies of our other siblings. They are identical!
PPS. My nephew told my sister this morning.....
"I need a bith-tit (biscuit) for my problem."
To which my sister replied, "what problem?"
My nephew stated, "My mean face problem".
He has been told he doesn't need to make mean faces.....he thought it might be a good way to get a biscuit before breakfast was ready....I could eat him up.
A half of day of fun with them and this morning we all left Peachtree to head to Warner-Robbins AFB to attend the birthday bash for this precious niece.....
Yes, she wanted a PIRATE birthday party. She could not be talked out of it and a precious pirate she was! We also got to meet our new baby niece for the VERY FIRST TIME! We were so excited!
She.Is.Perfect. Her hair looks like a wig and is hilarious! She is so content and just lays in your arms and hangs out. LOVED.IT!
And tomorrow morning at 9am we head out to finish moving Freebirds apartment back to home and hopefully drive into our humble abode by 7pm......Shewwwwww........
So, all of that to say.....I am going to keep it brief! I will show you who you all visited and clicked on the most and can't wait to see what you all link up this week!
Are We There Yet shared her pool and patio reveal and was the most clicked on link. We all love bringing the indoors outside!
And apparently we all needed tips on how to cut watermelon perfectly because this was incredibly popular! Mom 4 Realky shared her watermelon cutting tips! Her blog is so well designed and pretty....check it out!
Soul Style was a third runner up ans shared how to get the "old door" look easily and on a budget. I am actually looking for some old doors. This was a great post!
And now it's your turn! Show me what you have been up to this week.
Just a few rules:
* Follow my blog in some fashion
* Place my button or a text link at the bottom of the post that you are sharing. It let's others know where you are partying.
* Visit a link in front and in back of the one that you post. We all love the visits and each comment means so much. Comment on those posts and tell them that you saw them at Meet Me Monday. Spread the love! I promise...it comes back even more!
That's it. Party here. Link up and then join the other awesome Monday parties. You can click on their buttons here. They are so excited to meet you!
My daughter had a pirate party as well for her 4th birthday- she was insistent that it HAD to be a pirate party! Too cute! I also love the door mirror!
ReplyDeleteI spent many happy hours in Madison back in the 60's with my beloved grandparents, who lived in a house on Main Street. I used to love walking to the five and dime with my grandpa. My cousins and I used to go to a double feature movie for twenty-five cents - boy am I telling my age! Back in those days it was a sleepy little town. Thank you for hosting your party every week!
ReplyDeleteWhat? You are glad to finally be thirty. 30-50 won't take very long at all! Great features! I think i have to try the watermelon slicing post!
