Nightstand transformation

Ok.....I have told you guys that I need to catch up with you......

I meant it.

So, I won't bore you to death, this story will have pictures attached.

Before and afters of some great pieces that I picked up in Atlanta at the Motel furniture place.....

Not that I think you guys won't listen without pictures.

Ok, I don't.

Here we go, I will keep it short and sweet.

Beaches is downsizing on their furniture space because selling Ce Ce's paint has become quite successful.

BTW, did you know that you can contact them about how to become a retailer yourself?

Well, you can and their regions are filling up fast.

I will still get my Ce Ce's from them and also my waxes and will also still carry a small amount of furniture in their retail side of their store......

I canNOT wait to tell you about a new wax they are carrying btw BUT one story at a time.......

Ok....so anyway, I have really fallen in love with transforming pieces and an opportunity to sell my pieces at a shared booth at Inlet Queens came right around the time that I found out about Beaches.

I found out about them from the sweetest couple that have bought my product off of Craigslist and thought I would fit in perfectly at Inlet Queens.

Inlet Queens, is located here in Murrells Inlet, SC. They have vendors that sell an eclectic variety of upscale decor and furniture and it has to be re-purposed or hand made.

They allowed me to bypass a waiting list after seeing my blog and the last few pieces I made. (What are they, desperate?) ; ) It was actually neat to see that my blog finally paid off! Whoop! See! It does pay to blog. : )

They have grown so much in a year that they now have two buildings and a waiting list to get in as a vendor. They evaluate their vendors on the waiting list and let them in according to how they will fill their spaces. I wasn't anything special. Just what they needed.

To get in now, I will share with someone who provides more decor pieces and I will provide more furniture pieces in our space. I'm glad about that because I was a little worried about filling a whole booth just yet.

So.....now we are finally starting to catch up!

I didn't want to tell you until I let Beaches know...they were happy for me! I also wanted to wait until I signed my lease with Inlet Queens.

Oh, but I didn't tell you that I  have to have my booth stocked by June 1st and I leave for Spain on the 19th.

AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

Shewwwww....are you still there?

~Tap tap~

Anyone?

Here, check out more pictures! Quick!

(Before again)

 After....

 Did that keep you occupied?

What do you think?

Of the sweet nightstands?

Of Inlet Queens?

Isn't that perfect timing? The Inlet Queens, not the nightstands...although technically they were perfect timing too.

But let's keep straight and to the point.
I wouldn't want this story to ramble or be unorganized.

Back to perfect timing...... like God timing? Crazy isn't it?

That's what I thought too.

Well, you guys have been the best.

You are always such great friends!

How is it that you don't mind listening?

Hmmmmm.....I just can't figure it out. : )

Love,

Me

  7. A God thing is exactly what I was thinking! He didn't close a door and open a window, sounds like He closed the window, opened the door. We all know you do great work, glad the Inlet folks recognized that. Beaches loss. I wish shipping was cheaper, or we were closer. Love those nightstands....now. And I'd never nod off reading your posts, you might reading mine, but that's a whole other story...CONGRATS!! Janet
